Visitors to the Malaga innovation ecosystem virtual space are anonymous.

However, to access some of the services and resources contained in its constituent portals, users must formally register; to do so they must provide the personal data required for the service to be provided.

Before creating a profile and becoming a user of MALAGA VALLEY INNOVA (hereinafter MVI) you should read this Privacy and Data Protection Policy ("Privacy Policy") and accept it by checking the box on the MVI registration form.

Our Privacy Policy covers the personal information you provide to create a profile as well as all the information you provide on accessing any of the services available on the MVI platform during the time your profile is in effect.

MVI compiles and uses your data to identify you as a platform user and to give you access to the services, features and applications that we provide. Before you start using any new services or functionalities on the MVI platform, remember to read our Terms and Conditions of Use that specifically refer to that service. There you will also find information on whether we use your data and how we do so for each particular service and functionality.

By checking the box on the registration form, you are also giving your consent to receive information through the MVI platform or through messages that we send to your e-mail account; these may contain information on changes and updates to MVI and on its activities, products, services, offers, special promotions, and so on. This information may be segmented according to the information you provide us so we can give you a personalized service and provide you with relevant information, where appropriate.

MVI makes every effort to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your data. To this end, MVI has applied numerous security measures and technical means to prevent loss, misuse of, or unauthorized access to, your data.

As an MVI user, you are entitled to access your personal data to learn how it is treated and for what purpose, and so that you can inform us if you do not wish us to use your information for a particular activity. Furthermore, you can correct any errors you observe in your data or ask us to delete it if you no longer wish to use the MVI platform.

The data will be entered in the corresponding files belonging to Malaga City Council and will be treated in compliance with the provisions of Law 15/1999 of December 13, Protection of Personal Data and other regulations.

The compiled data will only be transferred, if at all, after you have given your consent or in compliance with the aforementioned Spanish Data Protection Law - (LOPD).

Persons whose personal data reside on a file of users of this site can exercise their rights of access, modification, cancellation and opposition as provided for in Law, before the organization responsible for the file, by sending said request to the Department of Innovation and New Technologies of the City of Malaga, Calle Muñoz Councillor Cerván, 3, 29003 - Malaga.
